The challenge

Medical procurement isn’t a normal e-commerce category. Healthcare buyers can’t afford counterfeit stock, undocumented suppliers, or unverified provenance. Vendors carry regulated products with batch numbers, expiry dates, and compliance documentation that has to travel with every transaction. And the platform connecting them needs to enforce all of that without becoming so heavy that day-to-day operations grind to a halt.

SehaTech needed a marketplace built for the medical sector specifically — one that combines a clean modern shopping experience with the verification, oversight, and audit machinery that healthcare commerce demands.

A marketplace built for medical buyers

The customer-facing storefront is designed for the people who actually buy: doctors, clinic procurement officers, hospital purchasing teams. They search across thousands of products, compare specifications, check vendor credentials, and place orders through a streamlined flow. Every product page shows the vendor’s verification status, rating, and order history — visible signals of trust before any money changes hands.

Order tracking, integrated payment, and direct vendor communication sit inside the same interface, so the buyer never has to leave the platform to chase a delivery or clarify a specification. For repeat purchases — a consistent reality in medical procurement — the system surfaces previous orders, preferred vendors, and quick-reorder shortcuts.

Vendor portals with everything they need

Each vendor gets a dedicated dashboard to run their business on the platform: product catalogue management, inventory levels, pricing, order processing, refunds, and customer communications — all in one place. Vendors can upload products in bulk, track which listings convert, monitor their compliance score, and respond to buyer inquiries without switching tools.

Bulk order inquiries (a frequent pattern in medical supply) get their own workflow — a vendor can quote, negotiate, and convert a multi-unit request into a formal order without the back-and-forth that usually clogs email threads.

Operations monitoring & risk control

The admin operations dashboard is where SehaTech becomes more than a marketplace. Open disputes, pending refunds, high-risk orders, and suspicious transactions surface at the top of the screen in real time — every issue routed to the right reviewer with the full transaction context one click away.

The dispute funnel tracks every case from opened through evidence gathering, decision, and resolution. Transaction timelines visualise the flow of money — auth, capture, refund, payout — so when something goes wrong, the team can see exactly where and when. Risk alerts flag patterns automatically: suspiciously large first-time orders, multiple failed payments in a short window, transactions that exceed a vendor’s normal range. The platform doesn’t wait for fraud to be reported; it surfaces it as it happens.

Administration & user oversight

Vendors, clients, and admin roles all sit under a unified user management layer. Super admins can create roles, assign granular permissions, monitor active sessions, and see exactly who did what across the platform. Top-performing vendors are ranked by revenue and customer rating so the team can lean into what’s working; underperforming or non-compliant vendors are flagged for review before they become a liability.

Platform health metrics — system status, payment processing success rate, active disputes, risk alerts — sit on a single screen, giving leadership a real-time view of whether the marketplace is operating cleanly or needs attention.

Communication, audit & secure access

Messages between vendors and clients flow through a centralised inbox, with admins able to monitor patterns and intervene where needed (compliance questions, dispute escalations, regulatory updates). Bulk notifications let the admin team broadcast to all vendors, all clients, or specific segments — useful for compliance updates, policy changes, or platform announcements.

Behind everything sits an audit log of every meaningful action: every login, every order change, every refund approval, every permission grant. Exportable in CSV with filtering by user, action type, and date range, the audit trail makes SehaTech defensible against scrutiny — internal, regulatory, or legal. Role-based access with enterprise-grade authentication keeps the surface area locked down without making daily use painful.
